the location of the hostel was great. It was situated between a beautiful castle, a scenic path through the woods, and the town center. The staff were more than happy to guide us to these attractions, which made exploring the area much easier. Another advantage was the opportunity to save money by cooking our own meals in the kitchen. It was a convenient way to have affordable and home-cooked meals during our stay.
There was barely enough room for luggage and only a few of the beds had plugs nearby. It was quite inconvenient to have to scramble for a spot to charge my electronics.

The location of this backpacker lodge is fantastic, nestled in a charming village with beautiful surroundings. You'll find everything you need within walking distance, including a small grocery store, several restaurants, and the delightful Cafe Eighty2 for your caffeine fix. the staff are welcoming and helpful, ensuring you have a pleasant stay. the rooms are simple but have all the necessary amenities, including comfortable beds.
The shared washrooms are not ideal, as they are mixed gender, small, and lack privacy.

The hotel is located in a nice, quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. This adds to its charm and provides a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing stay. Additionally, the staff at this hotel are very attentive and friendly, giving us a warm welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The basic amenities provided were clean and tidy, and we especially appreciated the towels provided in our room. Another highlight was the delicious homemade jam served during breakfast, adding a delightful touch to the meal.
Everything was great.

We recently stayed at a backpackers lodge, and it was a lovely experience! the location was great, with easy access to the nearby attractions. we could walk to Urquhart Castle, and the town centre was just a short drive away. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the bathroom facilities were well-maintained. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the free WiFi and laundry services.
A noisy couple in the dorm room next to us, which made it difficult to sleep.

Affordable accommodation for backpackers. Clean and comfortable facilities. the free WiFi and laundry service were a plus. Conveniently located near a gas station, grocery store, and restaurants. Overall a great value for the price.
The rooms were cramped, lacked safety rails on the bunk beds and some could use an update. the bathrooms were mixed gender and lacked proper privacy.

The hostel offered affordable rates and had a clean environment with free Wi-Fi and laundry services. The location was convenient with a nearby gas station, grocery store, and restaurant in walking distance. The warm and quiet room made for a comfortable stay.
The shared bathrooms were gender-free and not comfortable for those new to hostel stays. The family room was small for five people, and the beds were not the most comfortable.

Great location near the Loch Ness river and Urquhart Castle, and also not far from the centre of town. Very clean hostel with cozy rooms. The staff were fantastic and welcoming, especially the owner who was very knowledgeable about the area, and always happy to chat. The great breakfast for £3.50 was a convenient option for a cyclist like me.
Nothing, all great.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. First of all, the location is fantastic. It's situated in a small village on Loch Ness, which gives it a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. Although it is a hike away from the 'main' town where the restaurants are located, the walk is definitely worth it for the stunning views.
My experience at this hotel was amazing and I couldn't fault it in any way.

The staff were friendly and eager to help. The hostel is in a very good location, close to the center of the village and not far from Loch Ness. I also enjoyed the opportunity to sit outside and relax in the evenings.
My room was not comfortable due to the constant noise coming from the bathroom below. The swing doors were very loud and kept me awake late into the night.
